Maintenance EngineerAre you someone who is passionate about engineering, plant reliability and continuous improvement projectsAt Weber we are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to work in our Maintenance Team based in Flitwick helping to deliver support of the Production plant with proactive and reactive maintenance provision, ensuring the Plant is fully operational.This Maintenance Engineer well be a part of a hands on, technical minded team who are focused on both mechanical and electrical planned preventative and reactive maintenance within a fast-paced world class manufacturing facility. This isa fantastic opportunity to join the team on a 12-month fixed term contract with the opportunity to go permanent and forge a stable long-term career with WeberWeber is one of 30+ Saint-Gobain brands. Weber are formulators and manufacturers of building materials for the facade, construction mortars, flooring systems and tile fixing markets, Webers well established product range includes monocouche renders, externalwall insulation systems, tile adhesives/grouts, leveling compounds and specialist construction products.This is a shift Maintenance Engineer role, and the hours are early and late shifts, 6am -2pm 1 week and 2pm - 10pm the next week.What were looking for:

• Experience in continuous improvements in a world class manufacturing / production environment
• Excellent experience in performing Planned Preventative Maintenance, reactive maintenance but most importantly strong plant reliability skills in a fast-paced manufacturing facility
• Problem solver, technical minded with an Electrical time served apprenticeship and holds 18th Edition
• Strong attention to detail. Solid experience of safely maintaining medium to heavy process plant, the ability to perform mechanical maintenance duties and be classed as a Dual Skilled Engineer.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple simultaneous priorities

What you will be doing:

• Planned Preventative Maintenance, Reactive Maintenance, overall plant, and people safety,
• Liaising with Plant Operators, working with the team of 6 Dual Skilled Maintenance Engineers, conducting plant walk downs checking for reliability issues,
• Responsible for keeping the production facility running on 24/7, this is a key critical maintenance role, ensuring cost and breakdowns are kept to a minimum
• Actively investigates reported faults ensuring root cause is determined and actions put in place, communicating findings to appropriate people
• Manage task and schedules to the highest levels and ensure communicating professionally to Stakeholders across the facility.
• Training the Production Operatives in basic maintenance duties to ensure productivity
