Vintage Vehicle TechnicianLocation: Flecknoe, WarwickshireHours: 7am-4pm Monday-FridaySalary: £34,000 - £38,000 per annumPermanentWe are looking for a skilled, versatile, and knowledgeable Vintage Vehicle Technician to work for a world class restoration company looking to expand its team. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who has a genuine interest in vintage cars.The desired VintageVehicle Technician will need a positive, resourceful outlook, stable leadership skills and a tenacious work ethic. You will be responsible for general maintenance and servicing of these Vintage and vintagecars, while also performing restoration work in preparation.As a Vintage Vehicle Technician, you will be expected to have a high attention to detail and be able to work diligently. You will be required to work both as part of a team, and as an individual, without constant supervision using your owninitiative to overcome complication.Responsibilities of the Vintage Vehicle TechnicianThe role would be extremely varied with very little repetition but would involve;

• General Mechanics,
• Hand Fitting,
• Problem Solving, and Fault Diagnosis (without the aid of electrical diagnostic equipment).
• Working with Mechanical Brakes and Manually-timed engines,
• Working with Vintage/Classic Cars on a daily basis.

The Ideal Vintage Vehicle Technician

• Must have extensive hands-on experience of whole vehicles,
• Good engineering background is essential,
• Candidates with a Vintage vehicle or motorsport background would thrive in this environment,
• Experience of previous vehicle assembly/build work is essential,
• Experience of doing basic machining on lathes and milling machines is essential,
• It is essential you have experience of basic fabrication and welding capability
• It is essential you have experience tuning and rebuilding carburettors,
• Resourceful with a proven record of being able to solve problems,
• Ability to develop good technical solutions to build/ quality issues,
• Excellent organisational skills, proficient at managing and prioritising work schedule,

• Upholstery
