Job Description

Rutherford Briant are currently recruiting for a well-established ecommerce company based in Essex for a part-time Customer Service Associate on a 4-6-month fixed term contractThis is a great opportunity to take on a fresh challenge and develop your career with a dynamic and rapidly growing company. The main office is based in Braintree. You will ideally have demonstratable experience with Outlook, online chat, face to face andtelephone experience.This role is a fully office-based role. The role is offering 20 hours per week, and the successful candidate must be willing to work flexible days and hours, including weekends on occasion and the evening shift which is 11am-8pm.Example duties for this Customer Service Associate are:

  • Answering customer phones calls and email enquiries in a prompt and courteous manner.
  • Providing customer with product, price and delivery information.
  • Processing orders in a correct and timely manner.
  • Contacting customers in a proactive fashion to notify them in the event of delayed deliveries.
  • Taking customer payments in accordance with our agreed payment procedure.
  • Resolving customer disputes, reviewing requests for credit notes and actioning appropriately.
  • Achieving the budget attributed to sales office team whilst ensuring all customers receive top service.
  • Responding to all eBay and Amazon questions within maximum time limit to avoid penalties.
  • Responding to all online chat enquiries swiftly and courteously.
  • Preparing and sharing sales updates with colleagues.
Desirable yet not essential experience for this role would be previous experience working with eBay and amazon, from a b2c background as well as salesforce, magneto and linnworks.Interviews are to be held in person with a view to get somebody started as soon as possible.If this seems like something that would interest you, please apply now!
