We are searching for immediately available candidates with experience in manual handling. Working as part of the Hospital Services team you will be responsible for the validation, storage and issue of blood components that come in from NHS blood donors. This is a vital part of the organisation, as the department is responsible for providing hospitals with the blood products that go on to save people lives.Payrate: £10.19 per hourLocation: Filton (onsite parking and easily accessible by public transport)Payment: PAYEShift: 8 hours per day Monday to FridayEnd date: 30/04/2021Join our client and you will handle a wide range of tasks, including the labelling of blood donations, working as a team to meet the demands of hospital requests and correct handling and storage of blood components. You will also be required to keep the computerised audit trail records up-to-date and to make sure that any incoming blood supplies are properly received and accounted for.It is a role that demands great team working skills, meticulous attention to detail and the ability to precisely follow written instructions.
