We are looking for a Purchase Order Administrator to join our busy Purchasing Department.The role will involve dealing with incoming sales orders from customers and the raising and management of purchase orders to the suppliers, through our China office. You will be working for some of the fastest growing brands in the UK and dealing with customersand suppliers on a global scale.Purchasing Administrator full time permanent £19,000 - £20,000 M-F 8.30-5PMThe responsibilities of this role include: The raising and management of sales orders from customers The raising and management of purchase orders to suppliers Using relevant reports and check sheets to ensure customer requirements are followed Saving of various documentation to relevant system folders Working closely with the customer and related buyers Managing system dates, ensuring accuracy at all times. Updating and maintaining Navision data, especially in relation to item/vendor cards and purchase orders and sales orders Liaising with accounts to ensure that deposits / balance payments meet deadlines for shipments Liaising with Suppliers, Customers, Buyers and Factories in the Far East and worldwide. Chasing and handling of product samples, tracking, customer requirements. Liaising with China Office in relation to purchase orders, sales orders and product information. Checking of Inspection Reports, Sales Confirmations, etc Assisting with any enquiries from other depts., reps, etc. General support to the Buying Team and Purchasing Department(This is not exclusive and support would be expected with any duties within the department as dictated by departmental management.)The successful applicant will: Have excellent attention to detail and administration skills. Be self-motivated, proactive and able to work under own initiative. Be able to manage time and workload, accordingly, in a fast paced environment. Be able to effectively communicate and negotiate with people of all backgrounds. Work well under pressure and use effective time management to meet tight deadlines. Be personable and able to build relationships with people of all levels/positions. Have a good knowledge of the Microsoft packages. Be a team player, with a flexible attitude
