We have an exciting opportunity for a talented and driven Head Bar Tender to join our team at The Sun Inn, Felmersham in North Bedfordshire.Since opening our traditional English pub in 2019, we have developed our honest style of hospitality and passion for food and drink, that is so popular with our loyal locals and enthusiastic customers.Relaunching in autumn 2022, following major renovations; we are looking for a motivated team of people to helpdeliver our core vision for the next revolution around The Sun and beyond. About the roleThe Head Bartender will be responsible for the day to day running of the drinks service at The Sun Inn, both in the bar and dining room. You will ensure a smooth and efficient running of service, whilst providing the same standard of customer care to thosepopping in for drinks after work, or a big birthday celebration. You will deliver an exceptional level of drinks service and interact confidently with guests and build lasting relationships. You will be part of a cracking team, coaching and supporting juniormembers of the bar team, with support from the General Manager, who all share the same visions.

• Previous experience of leadership in a bar environment/managing a team.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Confident, friendly, and personable manner.
• High level of discretion and trustworthiness.
• High levels of personal integrity.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Basic IT Skills including Excel and Outlook.
• High knowledge of the pub and/or events industry.
• Ability to work to specific deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Experience in stock ordering and rotation.
• Ability to manage change in process and policy.
• Highest level of personal grooming.
