This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to further their career in the Drivingindustry.Key Responsibilities:- Safely and efficiently operating a car or van to transport goods and/or passengers to designated locations within the Featherstone area.- Conducting pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicles safety and functionality.- Loading and unloading goods, ensuring secure transportation.- Adhering to all traffic laws, regulations, and safe driving practices.- Maintaining accurate documentation and records of deliveries, including proof of delivery signatures.- Providing exceptional customer service by ensuring timely and professional interactions with clients and customers.- Reporting any accidents, damage, or other incidents immediately to management.- Maintaining cleanliness and upkeep of the vehicle.Qualifications:- Valid UK driving license, with no more than 6 penalty points.- Proven experience as a Car/Van Driver, demonstrating a clean driving record.- Knowledge of local road networks and traffic regulations.- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to meet delivery deadlines.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately.- Physically fit, capable of loading and unloading various goods.- A proactive and problem-solving mindset, capable of handling stressful situations with composure.This role:Monday - FridayOne saturday per month.Start times vary between 05:30am - 11:30am ( These are text directly by the company ).Weekly payTemp - To - Perm£11.00ph10 - 11 hrs per dayUp to 30 drops per day.For this position you are required to have a clear DBS check or to have applied for one before starting.To apply for this exciting opportunity, please visit our website at workchain.co.uk and complete the online application form.
