This is an exciting opportunity for a B3 team secretary to join our childrens continuing care team.The role will be supporting a team of specialist registered children’s nurses, who provide comprehensive assessments for children and young people up to the age of 18, who have complex health needs unable to be met by universal services.The team carry out health assessments according to The Department of Health criteria for children’s continuing care with east Kent. Those assessments are then presented to the multi-disciplinary panel including commissioners and social care. Where eligibility for the continuing care package is agreed and then implemented by the commissioning support unit.The successful applicant will currently be based at Capital House in Faversham and be employed within Kent Community Health Foundation Trust. The Trust is an exciting place to work and was awarded a rating of outstanding by CQC last year.
