Job Description

Telesales - Construction and Groundwork EquipmentJob Title: Telesales - Construction and Groundwork EquipmentIndustry Sector: Construction, Civil Engineering, Utilities, Landscaping, Ground care and End UsersLocation: Bolton and surrounding areasRemuneration: £21,000 + Monthly CommissionThe role of the Telesales - Construction and Groundwork Equipment will involve:

  • Telesales role, selling a distributed and manufactured range of equipment for predominantly the construction and groundworks market
  • Also targeting forestry & landscaping, cleaning and spare-parts markets
  • Promoting products such as disc cutters, generators, water pumps, compaction, concreting, chainsaws, trimmers, small commercial engines, industrial pressure washers etc.
  • Selling into end users such as rental businesses and construction/ groundworks contractors etc.
  • Working in a team of 3 that are responsible for 6000 accounts on the internal database, this is split evenly between the team, taking on 2000 accounts each
  • Responsible for raising quotations and orders, and explore missed sales opportunities
  • Following up on leads, keeping customer records up to date on CRM system
  • Making outbound calls to companies on the database plus gaining new business, should be making 100 dialog calls per week
  • Helping the telesales team achieve £500,000 target annually, equating to roughly £15,000 sales each per month
The ideal applicant will be a Telesales - Construction and Groundwork Equipment with:
  • Proven track record in telesales is essential
  • Ideally will have been from the construction industry, however this is not essential as training will be provided and wont be going into the technical side
  • Loyalty
  • Good positive attitude
  • Competitive nature
  • Must be IT proficient across Microsoft Office, training provided on internal computer system
