Elevation have the pleasure of working with an insulation manufacturing company based in the Knaresborough area, who are looking to recruit an experienced Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with immediate effect!Salary: £40,000- £41,000Location: KnaresboroughHours: Monday to Friday - Days, afters nights on rotationA few of the many benefits:* 25 days holiday plus bank holidays* Monday to Friday work* Free on-site parkingDuties of this position:* General maintenance and installation of machinery and equipment from an electrical and mechanical perspective* Attending to breakdowns* Assembly parts, checking Jigs* Work with process engineers to ensure cost effective processes* Actively working on a continual improvement project to ensure yourself and the company are the best it can be!* Help to develop and complete PPMs regularly to minimise downtime* Liaise with other departments regarding breakdowns and changes* Working within a team environment* Assist in maintaining annual shut down programme* Maintaining stocks of spare parts* Participate and lead shift handover* Continuously follow health and safety regulations* Happy to take part in overtime on a Saturday every 3rd weekendDesired experience:* You must have at least Level 3 or above in Electrical Engineering (City and Guilds or NVQ based)* It would be advantageous for you to have HNC and HND qualifications but not essential* Have sound mechanical engineering knowledge/ experience as well as electrical* Have experience of Fault finding within previous roles* Ideally have manufacturing experience from and engineering perspective* Have experience of working with PLCs* Great communication skills (reading and spoken English is Essential)* Ideally have a recognised health and safety qualification, however this is not essentialFor further details please contact Beth Roberts at Elevation Recruitment.REFER A FRIEND!
