Supply Chain Manager| Nottinghamshire| Salary - £50000 - £62000Cherry Professional are currently working with a market leading Engineering and Design company. They are looking for a Supply Chain Manager to join their close knit and thriving team. You will be required to evaluate current operations, then make positive changesto make the day to day running of the site more effective.Responsibilities:

• Lead and continuously develop the Planning team, providing support throughout and suggesting the implementation of new processes
• Be an integral part of the SLT, represent the site at the business’ centralised Supply Chain meetings
• Drive the S&OP process
• Implement strategies to enhance performance and productivity within the team, with a objective of managing a growing operation.
• Optimise the use of SAP for effective resource management and productivity.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers (internal & external)
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes
• Lead team process conformance by continuously reviewing, challenging, and driving process improvements
• Establish, manage, and control all associated labour and material budgets, working in consultation with key stakeholders.
• Ensure the team delivers relevant targets by regularly reviewing, reporting on progress and resolving issues.

Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience working in a senior supply chain role
• Experience working with SAP within an engineering industry
• Previous leadership or management experience with several direct reports
• Fully conversant with all aspects of the Supply Function, and proven experience within this area.
• Able to use own initiative, to drive and develop a team, and resolves conflicts both within the team, and within the working environment.
• Ability to efficiently influence, at all levels, and develop effective working relationships with the necessary parties.
• Proven people manager with experience of developing a team got work to the best of their ability.
• Ability to make Cost Savings to a business through Continuous Improvement.
