Senior Software Quality Engineer - Automation Full remote working offeredWe are partnering with a Global Software solutions business in the analytics market who are looking for a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer / Senior Automation Engineer to join their team.This is an expanding team working with real-time data solutions. You will be developing subject matter systems and reporting on the quality of the system releases as part of the position.You will be taking ownership over large aspects of the quality of the companies products and software quality assurance activities. You require experience of functional and non-functional requirements for QA. The senior role combines the building aspect of software design engineering with the breaking aspect of software test engineering. You will be writing code that automatically verifies the quality of the product. You will need to understand software internals, debugging code, automating repetitive tasks, and implement new tools and frameworks needed to streamline our quality process.Experience required:The ideal candidate is highly experienced quality professional with solid understanding of the Test and Quality Assurance within a matured operating environment and the way for a growing QA team.You will be able to demonstrate experience in quality assurance processes and should have the following experience:* 5-10 years overall software quality and/or development experience including automation testing Web sites and APIs.* Design and build scalable automated test frameworks and test suites working across technologies.* Test Driven Development/Behaviour Driven Development experience.* Proven experience in Web driver/Selenium, TestNg, Junit, Appium, Cucumber Gherkin language, SoapUI, Rest Assured, Serenity or any equivalent tools.* Experience of testing cross browser applications and automating Angular, JavaScript based applications.* Non-functional testing experience (performance, security etc.) using tools like JMeter, Load Runner etc.* Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) experience.* Defect Management.* Experience working closely with development and business teams to communicate impacts and to understand business requirements.* Analyse test logs, create test reports, co-ordinate with stakeholders, communicate cross-functionally and across management levels in formal and informal settings. - Establish, document, and enhance QA processes, train team members on those processes.This position offers the chance to join an expanding team, you can expect to have great autonomy as part of the role with an opportunity for personal and career development working with a global team in a Big data setting.If you are interested in being considered, please apply for immediate consideration.
