Job Description

Are you an experienced Accounts Assistant looking for a move to a fast pace working environment within and exciting an exclusive industryOur client in Farnborough are in need of some temporary support for 3-6 months for someone with high volume Accounts Payable experience. You must be immediately available to be considered for this role.This is a high-volume position, so it is essential you have the experience and ability to hit the ground running within a supportive teamMy client is a rapidly growing company and are on the look-out for a candidate who can adapt and development to area outside the key duties listed below.Job Responsibilities:

  • High volume accounts payable work
  • Assist with weekly payment run calculations, identifying vendors requiring payment
  • Daily setting up of payment for operators, ensuring appropriate approvals are in place
  • Statement reconciliations
  • Reviewing credit card expenditure
  • Reviewing coding and VAT of purchase and sales invoices
  • Monthly review of VAT transaction and quarterly VAT returns
  • Maintaining monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Assist in preparation of accruals and prepayments at month end
Candidate Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years relevant experience within a similar role
  • Experienced accounts payable assistant
  • Experience of working with a fully integrated ERP system
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise
  • Good problem-solving skills
