Job Description

Our client is looking for an RF Test Technician with RF Test background to join their team at their facility in the Fareham area.The ideal candidate would have:* An RF Test background with experience of operating radio frequency test equipment such as spectrum analysers, network analysers, and power meters.* Good working knowledge of electronics and electrical concepts.* Ability to work autonomously in a pro-active and responsible manner with knowledge and experience to debug and understand failures.* Ability to interpret data to detect and recognise defects and conditions outside of specifications.* Ability to communicate technical information to help diagnose and solve problems.* Good computer skills to access and update data.* Good understanding of control process and processes.Responsibilities:* Develop test processes for new products.* Preform manual RF Measurements of equipment and sub systems using Power Meters, Spectrum analysers, Network Analysers and Signal Generators.* Check performance of payload equipment against parameters detailed in test procedures and review results for non-conformance.* Raise issues and concerns where support is required at team meetings.* Actively take part in improvement activities such as 5S, Root Cause Problem Solving to improve the overall performance of the line.* Reports equipment problems promptly, operate equipment correctly, comply with established maintenance and schedules and undertake daily maintenance tasks as appropriate.The is a Monday to Friday type of role for which our client is willing to pay up to £27,500 per annum.Please note that Security Clearance may be required.Disclaimer:This vacancy is being advertised by either Advanced Resource Managers Limited, Advanced Resource Managers IT Limited or Advanced Resource Managers Engineering Limited ("ARM").
