Job Description

Are you ready to take charge of a thriving workshop team within a renowned offshore engineering companyWe at Winners Recruitment are thrilled to present an exciting opportunity for a talented Maintenance Workshop Supervisor to join our prestigious client, a leading international company based in Cornwall. With over 9,000 employees and a progressive focus on offshore wind farms and renewable energies, this is a chance to make a real impact and contribute to the green energy revolution.

  • Position: Maintenance Workshop Supervisor
  • Location: Cornwall, United Kingdom
  • Company: Well-renowned Offshore Engineering Company
  • Role Focus: Supervising the workshop team in manufacturing bespoke over-water drilling equipment for offshore wind farms, as well as handling repairs and maintenance of existing equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Day-to-day running, upkeep, health and safety, and people management of the workshop
  • Ensuring the team fabricates, paints, fits out (mechanically & hydraulically), conducts electrical installations, and fully assembles products correctly and to standard
  • Overseeing the repair and maintenance of existing equipment
  • Collaborating closely with the team, actively engaging in hands-on work
Requirements:
  • Time-served experience in Mechanical & Hydraulic Fitting
  • Experience supervising a team of 6-12 staff, including sub-contractors
  • BFPA NFPA Hydraulics Trained (essential)
  • Time-served experience in a busy workshop
