Quantity Surveyor - Norfolk areaSalary - £40,000 - £60,000 + discretionary bonus / benefits.Healthcare and Community Construction (HCC) are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join a growing team.Our backgroundFormed in 2004 to provide specialist construction services to the Healthcare Sector, we deliver social and healthcare buildings to a variety of clients; our projects can vary in size from £2m - 12mSince 2004, under our experienced management team we have delivered over 50 new medical schemes together with community, residential and social developments. We are proud of our 100% on time and on budget delivery record.By December 2020 we would have delivered over 100 units in the last 18 months within the Norfolk area alone and we currently have ongoing Medical Centre and Social Housing developments.Due to our planned pipeline of work, we require an ambitious Quantity Surveyor to join a growing team and we look forward to receiving your application.The roleThe successful candidate would be required to work at various sites within Norfolk, alongside existing members of the HCC team and will be one of two Quantity Surveyors within the firm.Ideally you will have a minimum of 3 years practical experience following your qualification as a Quantity Surveyor, with experience in the construction of commercial buildings.Reporting directly to the Managing Director of HCC, you will be carrying out a variety of roles, examples of which are below.· Working with and monitoring sub-contractors· Preparing detailed breakdown of build costs for the specific elements· Carry out contract administration· Preparing, negotiating and analysing project costs· EstimatingRequirements for the role· The ability to work on your own and within a team· Proficient in the use of Microsoft programs such as Excel and Word.· Friendly and outgoing· Happy to be predominately site based· Commercially aware· Strong financial and numeracy skillsYour salary will commensurate with your experience, hence the broad salary range.Benefits:
