Job descriptionYou would be working for a company who are leaders in the design and manufacturing of self-testing emergency lighting.General Description:Are you customer focused with a drive to impressWe are looking for a highly motivated individual to join a friendly team.You will be responsible for:

  • The administration of the engineering team.
  • Scheduling of engineering visits
  • Providing detailed works information
  • Operation of engineer aspects of EFACS software
  • Liaison with customers ensuring detailed customer requirements
  • Documenting of engineer reports
  • Fully recording these via our IT system EFACS.
  • Answer the telephone
  • Support members of the sales and production administration team.
Key Accountabilities:Engineering Administration
  • Responsible for the effective and efficient delivery of engineering services.
  • Respond to client queries and scheduling visits.
  • Providing and ensuring excellent customer contact and service.
  • Ensuring client feedback is effectively communicated internally.
  • Arranging the production and storage of accurate engineer reports and certificates.
  • Working to engineering standards and processes.
  • Preparation of engineering reports and statistics as required.
  • Ensuring the qualifications, health and safety assessments and site-specific inductions for the team are up to date.
  • Ensuring engineers have the appropriate equipment and spare parts.
  • Creating and managing customer records on the database accurately and efficiently.
  • Organising and prioritising your workload effectively.
  • Liaising with the CAD team to ensure drawings are updated.
  • Assisting in administration tasks as required as part of the office team.
  • Achieving performance and quality objectives as set by management, within the appropriate performance periods, whilst also always adhering to all Company requirements.
  • Undertaking training and coaching sessions to hone skills and knowledge as required.
