Job Description

Mechanical Design Engineer Hybrid/North Norfolk £35k - £45kLangham Recruitment is pleased to be working with a well-established North Norfolk-based company that provides industry-leading machinery to an extensive list of clients worldwide, including Porsche, Nestle, and Bosch. Due to ongoing success and the companysexpansion plans, they are seeking multiple Mechanical Design Engineers to join their team.As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for creating mechanical designs in 3D (primarily in SolidWorks) for a wide range of products and applications.Responsibilities:

Create overall design and assembly drawings to define customer requirements.
Communicate with customers regarding projects.
Generate Bill of Materials (BOM) for special products and procurements as required.
Develop detailed manufacturing drawings for internal or external production.
Coordinate with Workshop Supervisor to ensure projects are completed on time.

Requirements:

Excellent working knowledge of SolidWorks 3D CAD or similar software.
Strong background in mechanical engineering, with experience in mechanisms, fabricated assemblies, and sheet metalwork (prior experience with Stainless Steel is a plus).
Ability to produce effective, detailed manufacturing information on time.
Capability to prioritize workload and manage multiple projects efficiently.
Quick and effective design of customized variants from a standard product range.
