Role: Engineering ManagerLocation: Norfolk Salary: Up to £75,000 + Car / Car Allowance + Fantastic Company PackageAs an Engineering Manager, you will play a vital part within the business overseeing a team of circa 25 staff across the factory floor. The company is an international business that are known as a number one giant within their market. Your role as an EngineeringManager will be to deliver the vision of the engineering function across their manufacturing lines. The core focus of this position to ensure that the equipment and facilities maintenance is completed to a high standard and to ensure compliance standards aremet at all times. You will need to be able to or have an understanding of the following:* Lead an engineering and engineering reliability team in the development and implementation of the site PM strategy* Demonstrate leadership within Health and Safety to ensure and exceed Health and Safety standards* Deliver a skills training plan for the engineering team* Develop robust relationships with the OEMs to continually challenge and develop schedules for better business productivity * Manage key contractors that are integral to support site reliability* Oversee other functions such as Cap Ex Project delivery, Process improvement, Equipment repairs, and Overhauls programs.The successful candidate will need to be, or need to have:* A time-served apprentice within electrical or mechanical that has worked their way through the ranks* A strong FMCG or Food Manufacturing (ideally) background* Someone that is approachable and able to lead a multifunctional team* A good understanding of maintenance best practises and CMMS systemsThe starting salary offered is up to £75,000 per annum with a car, or car allowance based on a Monday to Friday (8AM to 5PM) shift pattern.If successful, you will benefit from:* Great opportunity for personal development - internal progression.* Free parking* Company Training* 25 days holiday + 8 Bank Holidays (option to buy and sell annual leave)* Pension* Access to a Medical Benefit schemeThe first stage of the application process is to apply online.
