Are you an experienced practice nurse, or a nurse in another discipline seeking to move into general practice If so, we would really like to hear from you with a view to joining our friendly and highly skilled multidisciplinary team. Nant Dowlais Health Centre is a new GP practice serving a 10,000 patient list in West Cwmbran. Led by a new, multidisciplinary partnership, we are seeking 1 experienced practice nurse to expand our team.Position advertised: 1 x 25 hour/week permanent postAs an experienced Practice Nurse we expect the full range of practice nursing competencies including INR dosing, childhood immunisations, long term conditions management, smear taking, complex dressings etc. Training and development can be provided for less experienced nurses.This is an exciting time to join Nant Dowlais as we strive to develop our service using quality improvement methodology. The successful candidates will join an experienced nursing team comprising ANPs, NPs and HCA’s, ensuring that peer support and professional development is provided.
