Job Description

If you have an eye for detail and enjoy creating a safe and clean environment for some of the most vulnerable people in society, then join the team atSt Neots Hospitalas a Bank Housekeeper.You will be an integral part of the staff bank at a service forthose affected by a neurological or mental health conditionwhere you will be responsible for cleaning all areas of the service, including wards, office spaces, bedrooms and visitors area.Working closely with the maintenance team you’ll ensure all areas of the service are spotless and be able to confidently deliver high standard cleaning services.As staff bank, enjoy the flexibility to choose shifts that align with your scheduleat £12.05per hour including a 12.07% pay uplift and enjoy weekly pay.enjoy the flexibility to choose shifts that align with your schedule.You’ll receive all necessary training to get you started and join the dedicated team, where you can make a positive difference and be part of changing lives for the better.As a Housekeeper you will be:

  • Maintaining required security standards of the hospital by following relevant policies and procedures as defined by the Hospital.
  • An active member of the team with a range of responsibility over the day-to-day operation.
  • Maintaining excellent telephone etiquette and ability to meet and greeting visitors in a professional manner.
  • Establishing and maintaining good working relationships with all staff, visitors and service users.
  • Helping create a positive culture.
  • Undertaking any other tasks requested that are appropriate for the post.
  • Attending mandatory and statutory training on an annual basis as required by Elysium Healthcare.
To be successful in this role, you will:
  • Have previous experience of cleaning within a similar environment

Where you will be working: Location: Howitts Lane, Eynesbury, St Neots, Cambridgeshire, PE19 2JAYou will be working in the heart of St Neots in Cambridge, working alongside the team at St Neots Hospital which offers care, therapeutic and rehabilitation pathways for those affected by a neurological or mental health condition for which challenging behaviourmay be the leading impairment.St Neots provides assessment, treatment, rehabilitation and complex care for both male and female patients suffering from a broad range of neurological conditions e.g. Huntington’s disease, an acquired or traumatic brain injury, frontotemporal dementia orfunctional disorders and is provided by a highly experienced team based on site.What you will get:
