Job Description

Sheet Metal Setter / Laser OperatorOur client, a well-established engineering and manufacturing company based in Eye, Diss are looking for an experienced Sheet Metal Setter / Laser Operator to join their busy team on the night shift.

  • Do you have previous experience operating Laser cutting machines
  • Do you have basic mechanical knowledge
  • Do you have knowledge of various metals, grades and finishes
If so, this is the role for you!This is a full-time position working the below shift patterns.Nights Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday 18:00 - 06:00Nights Week 2: Wednesday & Thursday 18:00 - 06:00The Main role and responsibilities of the Night Laser Operator position include: -
  • Setup programs and templates on the attached computer terminal, adjust and prepare & run the laser cutter machine for operation
  • Shape/cut multiple types of metal, including Stainless steel, Mild steel and Aluminium
  • Arrangement of prepared orders
