Providing deep knowledge of the sector and an ambition to help the UK transition towards decarbonisation. Providing Electric Vehicle (EV) solutionsto businesses, local authorities, and drivers. Due to growth within the company, they are looking for a High Voltage (HV) Surveyor to join the operational side of the business, reporting into the Field Installations Manager. You will need to report into the London office 1-2 times a month and staying away when required.Responsibilities of the High Voltage (HV) Surveyor:* Plan surveys with clients and attend as required* Confident in assessing existing building loads and available capacity* Overlay site drawings with electrical equipment (RMU, Substation, Cable routes, Electric vehicle Charge points (EVCs)* Understanding of civil works required to carry out the EV installation and planning routes to avoid existing services etc* Confident talking clients through the proposed solution* Liaison with Mer pre-construction and installation teams* Managing ENA submissions to the various DNOs Criteria for the High Voltage (HV) Surveyor:* City & Guilds (or equal) Electricians qualifications (18th edition)* City & Guilds 2392 inspection and testing an advantage* Full driving license* Ability to competently interpret site plans* Electrical installation and site survey experience* Knowledge of TT/TN-S & TN-C-S (PME) earthing systems* Knowledge of CDM and ability to spot possible hazards/risks to the installation when on site survey* Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar roleIf you are a High Voltage (HV) Surveyor and would like to apply, please get in touch, or send over your C.V and we will call you.
