We have the perfect CAD Draughtsman position on the Norfolk / Suffolk border for someone whos looking for a focused position in bespoke manufacturing design.My client is a highly respected engineering organisation that supplies major and bespoke capital equipment to some of the countrys biggest manufacturers. Business has remained strong across the last year, and continues to grow.Youll be joining an experienced team of 4, who prepare existing mechanical engineering drawings reading for manufacturing, fabrication and in house Laser cutting/folding. Its the ideal position for you if its still relatively early on in your CAD Draughtingcareer, as theres a wealth of skills and knowledge available for you to pick up and run with.What youll be doing:-Producing sets of working detail & assembly drawings in 2D CAD based on original drawings-Engaging with clients and suppliers to solve technical problems-Working with the wider business including Sales and Workshop with technical informationWhat youll need:-2D Mechanical Design package experience ( AutoCAD LT) -3D Solidworks would be an advantage-Some CAD design experience preferably in Manufacturing-Attention to detail is essentialThe business prides itself in fostering long term, reciprocal relationships both internally and with its customers.
