Job Description

Water Utilities Field Technician£26-£28K plus Vehicle and on call allowance, excellent pension, 25 days holidayExeter based: Covering surrounding areas up to 2 hour radius8.30-5 Mon-Fri plus one in four on call rotaAre you a competent Water Field Service and Maintenance Engineer, looking to work for a large, growing utilities group, in a role offering long term career development. The role is field based covering a regional patch (all sites within 2 hours drive of Exeter). There are opportunities to increase earnings through the on call rota and a vehicle is provided.The role will be to undertake routine maintenance and be a site presence for the office based team to address issues and incidents as they arise.The Role

  1. Full time permanent role offering excellent long term opportunities.
  2. Undertake basic asset management tasks, such as; meter exchanges, customer queries and crossed meters.
  3. Ensure that the quality and integrity of the network is maintained as part of a structured audit strategy
  4. Effectively manage work schedule, calls, administration and inventory ensuring you optimise your time and delivery against the metrics set within the business.
The Person:
  1. Working knowledge or academic knowledge of the water industry
  2. Experience of a Field Service based role
  3. Any of the following tickets; Water Hygiene, SHEA Water, CSCS
  4. UK driving licence
