Job Description

Trainee Logging Technician ExeterStarting Salary £9.50 PHHours : 7.30am - 3.30pm Mon - FriAre you a motivated individual who wants to start a career within the Water & Utilities sectorAre you struggling to get the opportunity to prove yourselfIf so, please read and APPLY NOW!What is our Client is looking forOne of my most prestigious clients are looking for motivated individuals who have the ambition and motivation to start a career within the utilities sector. Your role as a Trainee Utilities Engineer will be working with one of the largest water boards inthe UK, helping to reduce clean water wastage through certain techniques and equipment.Main Responsibilities:

  • You will go out in your van with several Logging Devices
  • You will have a certain DMA (District Meter Area) in which you will be working on for that day/week
  • Within this DMA you will deploy your loggers (which will be set to turn on between 2AM and 4AM) on to the Hydrants and valves
  • These loggers will automatically turn on at 2AM and automatically turn off at 4AM. Within this time, they will collect data and analyse the activity within the pipe network in which they cover
  • The information from these loggers will then be sent back to the analyst in the office who will ideally gauge an understanding of any weak spots within the pipe network and fix it before it leads to la leak of a burst pipe
Skills Required :
  • A passion for Customer Service and customer satisfaction
  • Full UK driving Licence
  • Ability to work alone and within a team
  • Performance Driven
