Job Description

Position: Trainee Plant FitterLocation: ExeterSalary: £26,000Permanent Position25 Days holiday + BankInteraction Engineering have teamed up closely with a rapidly growing plant hire company looking to take on a trainee plant fitter. This is a great opportunity if you are looking to progress or start your career within the heavy plant industry, with clearprogression within the business this could be the start to a great career.The Role:

  • Servicing and maintaining a variety of small tools including, drills, saws, hand tools and more.
  • Inspecting and diagnosing small tools for faults.
  • Recording all maintenance and repair activity accurately.
  • Working closely with a team of engineers.
  • Ensuring health and safety is followed to ensure a safer working environment.
What we need from you:
  • A basic mechanical background or keen interest.
  • Previous experience working on small hand tools (Beneficial).
  • Current Pat testing certificate.
  • A full UK Driving license.
  • Driven to succeed attitude.
