Job Description

High growth technology business looking for a Project Lead with an understanding of PHP frameworks. This is a great opportunity to work for a forward-thinking business with tech at their heart. As part of this rapid growth, they are looking for an exceptional, innovative and highly motivated Technical Lead to manage their web teams.Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring smooth, low-debt development
  • Developing technical solutions using a customer-centric design-led approach
  • Sprint planning and task delegation, leading relevant solution development teams to timely delivery
  • Hands-on coding opportunities
  • Improving internal development processes and practices
  • Ensuring defensive and secure solutions
    • Requirements:
  • A strong knowledge of web technologies
  • Previous experience in a senior role within an Agile environment
  • Experience working with PHP frameworks (e.g. Laravel, Slim 3) is essential
  • Good knowledge of SQL and/or MySQL
  • Experience building unit and regression tests
  • Experience working with CI/CD development environments
  • Good understanding of Docker and Kubernetes is beneficial
  • An ambassador for test-driven development would be highly advantageous
    • To fulfil this role, the successful candidate will have a wealth of development experience, allowing them to have input into technical solutions from the outset and fast-track development. You will also have experience in managing multiple concurrent projects and should have an aptitude for analysing and implementing improvements to both development practices and processes.
