Job Description

  • The Energy team is passionate about renewable energy and delivering exceptional client service, and you will undertake a varied and interesting client caseload covering onshore wind, solar, EV, battery, AD, hydro and other renewable technologies.
  • You will be dealing with options and leases, power purchase agreements, easements and grid connection agreements, acting for funders, landowners and developers across a range of renewable energy technologies.
  • You will be liaising with our corporate, construction and planning teams in order to provide a seamless one-stop service for clients with renewable energy projects.

About You
  • You will be a Solicitor or Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Legal Executives with 5+ years’ PQE.
  • You have prior experience of working in the Energy sector dealing with options and leases.
  • You have a genuine interest in energy and be dedicated to progressing your career in this area.
  • You are commercially aware and have the ability to enhance the firm’s reputation through delivery of exceptional client service.
  • You have a flexible approach and the ability to work within a team environment.
  • You are highly organised, accurate, proactive and committed to meeting deadlines while remaining calm under pressure.
  • You are used to working in a busy and highly professional driven environment.
