Job Description

Our client a leading specialist software development business are looking to hire an experienced Software Tester to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.This is a fantastic career opportunity for an experienced Software Tester to join an expanding and successful business during a significant period of growth. The Role

  • As a Software Tester, you will rigorously evaluate the accuracy, performance, robustness and suitability of our clients software.
  • You will ensure that high quality software products and services are delivered to customers by planning and conducting risk analysis, automate and manual testing in order to validate software solutions and design.
  • You will develop detailed knowledge of our clients products, being responsible for identifying key risk areas whilst ensuring that system requirements and designs are fit for testing.
  • Additionally, you will participate in structured reviews, including design validation, code walkthroughs and inspections. You will create and refine formal regression packs for all internal production systems to ensure that all software and data is subjectto a risk mitigating testing.
About YouTo be considered for this Software Tester position, you will need a mixture of the following skills and experience: -
  • Software development experience in a structured language (e.g., C#, C++ or Java).
  • The ability to evaluate ideas and provide constructive criticism.
  • An organised and methodical approach to work with an eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written.
  • Evidence of formal training in software would be beneficial (ISTQB or similar).
  • Selenium, Cypress, NUnit (or Similar Testing Tools)
  • Story Mapping.
  • SQL skills.
  • Experience with the Agile Software Development.
