Job Description

Site Engineer We are looking for a Site Engineer to join our Regional Civils team based across the Devon, Dorset, and SomersetLocation: Devon, Dorset, and SomersetBusiness Area: Natural Resources, Nuclear and Networks – Regional CivilsContract: Permanent, Full TimeResponsibilitiesAs a Site Engineer, As an Agent, youll be working within the Regional Civils team, supporting the team working on a collaborative Delivery Framework with the Environment Agency delivering schemes across the Southwest.Your day to day will include:

  • Assisting in managing systems to enable the progress of work to be reviewed against time, quality dimensions and quantity
  • Complete construction records and assist in “as-built” drawings and schedules
  • Assisting in the recording and testing of workmanship and materials, i.e., drainage, concrete, piling and brickwork etc
  • Support in the preparation of sketches for distribution on-site, ensuring clear communication channels are in place
What are we looking forThis role of Site Engineer, is great for you if:
  • If you are an enthusiastic and proactive individual with relevant qualifications, degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering
  • Have previous experience on a major civil engineering scheme in a regulated environment and an ability to work as part of a project team
  • Highly organised and have strong attention to detail
