Job Description

Service AdvisorPermanent Full-Time (8:00am-6:00pm - Monday to Friday) and every third Saturday morningCompetitive Salary and bonus scheme dependent on experienceExeterWe are currently assisting our client, a well-established family-owned business, in recruiting a Service and Parts Advisor to join their friendly team in their Exeter depot. The client is highly invested in their candidates and offer fantastic job security.They are looking for someone with experience within the automotive sector.Duties: This dual role is a great opportunity filled with challenging yet exciting duties that include but are not limited to:

  • Meeting and greeting customers
  • Answering and directing all incoming telephone calls in a polite and professional manner and within a maximum of three rings.
  • Dealing with any resulting queries to completion via telephone or email.
  • Dealing with all incoming enquiries reference customer job updates and call handling as many as possible.
  • Promote robust business practices and customer relationships, being proactive to not only retain but develop the customer base.
  • Ordering parts.
  • Logging and storing parts.
  • Organising returns.
  • Allocating parts to invoices.
  • Stock taking.
  • Parts department husbandry.
  • Completion of warranty parts log.
Requirements:
  • Excellent telephone manner.
  • Confident in computer use.
  • Automotive experience would be an advantage.
  • You need to be proactive and take pride in what you do.
  • You will have a willingness to learn and will be engaged with training.
