Job Description

Are you an Experienced 2 nd line Support Engineer Have a strong IT background and Qualifications Want the perfect mix of working from home and still have the social aspect of an Office (Hybrid) If so, this may be the role for you.Job Title: Systems Support EngineerLocation: ExeterJob Type: Permanent / Full TimeHours: Hybrid (2 days in the office) 8:30-5:30 and Working on Call every 1 in 6 weeks (Rota)Salary: 30K-35KOur Client and the role.The day to day of this role will vary across multiple tasks, no day will be the same. Overall, you will be responsible for onboarding and supporting small and medium scale enterprise business networks, both remotely, and on-site. Working cross functionallywith other support teams to deliver comprehensive IT solutions.Our Client Has a strong team ethic and works closely together to achieve goals and tasks, Team are close knit and enjoy social activity throughout the work year. This position requires excellent communication and strong technical skills & the ability toprovide advice, when required, to the Service Desk and deal with escalated incidents.Driving license will be required for this role, and your own car due to the hybrid nature of the role and Potential work requirements.Main duties:

Technical Standards Required
  • Experience in Networks (including routers, firewalls, and switches), TCP/IP, Office 365, Azure, Active Directory, Virtualisation (VMWare & Hyper-V) Backup solutions and Antivirus software.
  • Microsoft Certified Associate or Expert.
More Desirable Experience includes
  • Experience of working on a variety of implementation projects
  • Experience of working with external software and hardware suppliers
  • Experience using network troubleshooting tools
