Are you a Civil Engineer, Asset Engineer or Structural Engineer looking to step into a Senior Technical role Would you like to lead on key business units across Marines, Utilities and Defence sectorsThe Civils and Infrastructure Division at Ford and Stanley are proud to be working with one of the UK’s leading Civil Engineering and Asset Management specialists who are seeking a Senior (Asset/Civils/Structural) Engineer.You will be leading an experienced team of 10 operational staff, with plans to grow this team in the near future.You will be reviewing reports and providing technical input from data received from ‘specialist access’ examinations and inspections across a wide variety of structures & sectors.Effectively, your role would be to act as an Engineering Quality and Compliance Lead on Utilities and Defence projects as well as assisting in other areas (Marine, Rail & Highways) throughout the business. Another aspect of the role will be the continued development and implementation of new technical capabilities, such as 3D Point Cloud Scanning, Lidar, and Concrete testing. This role is a mixture of site based, and office based working, with site work consisting ofsite surveys, inspections and audits, to ensure that quality and H&S standards are met. Your work bank will be incredibly varied – one day they could be visiting clientson an active naval vessel, the next they could be conducting a site audit at a Petro-chem facility.It would be highly advantageous for the successful candidate to either have experience in specialist access, such as confined spaces or Roped-access work, or be comfortable in obtaining these competencies, to provide ‘hands on’ support if required.
