Job Description

About this Role:The appointed Senior Quantity Surveyor will ensure the successful financial completion of projects, protecting any financial risks to the company, together with adherence to the commercial procedures of the Business. Senior Quantity Surveyor Duties:

  • Pre-Contract and Tendering Activities
  • Carry out subcontract procurement in line with the procurement timetable, in accordance with the clients procurement policy.
  • Timely preparation of valuations, submission of invoices and receipt of payment.
  • Monitor resources and costs to ensure that projects meet and exceed targets
  • Applications for payment and invoicing
  • Production of accurate and timely CVR reports and forecasts
  • Diligent planning and programming duties - Using detailed knowledge of financial reporting to provide robust and honest progress reporting
  • Risk and opportunity management
  • Change Control
  • Prepare subcontract instructions and put in place and adhere to robust subcontract change control procedures
  • Manage prompt preparation and settlement of final accounts, including Compensation Events (variations), claims and disputes
