Job Description

Introduction/Job Overview: We are currently seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join a rapidly growing Exeter business specialising in creating innovative websites for their clients.Working closely with the CTO, you will be delivering custom enhancements and features to key customer accounts. You will liaise directly with customers, who are often not technical ensuring that their requirements are translated into complex customisations.Responsibilities

  • Translating customer needs into complex customisations
  • Working with HTML/CSS/Javascript aswell as PHP and SQL for backend
  • Some customisations will also be done via Magento or WooCommerce but training can be provided.
  • Liaising with customers regarding required customisations and
    • Requirements:
  • 5-10 years relevant experience in a commercial environment with a track record of responsibility for successful delivery of projects and a demonstrable portfolio of relevant work
  • Knowledge of JavaScript, PHP, HTML/CSS and SQL essential
  • Knowledge of Perl an advantage
  • Windows and Linux experience
  • Knowledge and experience of ecommerce and ecommerce systems preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A real passion for finding the innovative, efficient and elegant solution to a requirement
  • Meticulous attention to detail - critical for accurately implementing customer requirements
  • Self-motivated, comfortable working on your own and as part of the team
  • Enthusiasm, desire to learn and a quick learner
