Parcelforce Multi Drop Van Driver - ExeterHourly Rate - £9.71 rising to £11.34 after 12 weeks and £12.40 after 26 weeks. Contract Type - 4 - 6 weeks contract with temp to perm opportunities.Hours * Full time hours per week with opportunity for overtime. * Typical attendance will be 08:30 start Monday to Friday, however you may be required to work Saturday (subject to business requirements) Flexibility is essential.Location: Parcelforce Exeter, 13 Trusham Road, Marsh Barton Industrial Estate, EXETER, EX2 8RLAbout the role* As a multi drop driver you will start your day loading and carrying out safety checks on your vehicle.* Collecting and delivering parcels in specific geographical areas around Exeter.* Working as a multi drop driver you will be expected to deliver in excess of 30 - 50 parcels per day after training.* You will receive manual handling and device training.* You will be required to take a driving assessment prior to your start date.About you* Being a multi drop driver you need to be helpful and friendly.* Looking for a long-term career in an ambitious and growing company.* A positive person with, good people skills, presentable in appearance and has a strong work ethic.* It is important that youre able to lift and carry parcels weighing up to 30kg.* You will to have a full clean UK driving licence (less than 6 pints will be considered)* Prior experience as a multi drop driver or courier driving a 3.5t vehicle is preferred but not essential.* You will need your own sat nav to support you with the provided route planner.
