Our established student accommodation Cricket Field Court based in Exeter are looking to appoint a Maintenance Technician to join the business and take responsibility for the repairs on site.In this autonomous role, you will be accountable for the day-to-day maintenance of the site which includes duties such as painting and decorating, minor repairs, ground maintenance, health and safety checks, pus other maintenance duties on site.Working 18.5 hours per week on a rota basis Monday to Friday, you’ll need to be competent with minor electrical maintenance as you’ll be responsible for the installation of white goods, carrying out visual PAT testing, changing plugs and fuses, emergencylighting checks and replacing lamps and light ballasts.About youWe’re looking for an individual who has strong communication skills and is confident in their ability to undertake general maintenance works, both planned and reactive and can adapt to different situations whilst maintaining professionalism.
