Credit Controller/ Legal Cashier Law Firm - For Either Exeter, St Austell or Truro££££ Very Competitive Salary Plus ExcellentStaff Benefits and BonusAn excellent opportunity has arisen for a credit controller/legal cashier within this renowned expanding law firm. This is a full-time opportunity working 9am to 5.15pm Monday to Friday. This role could be based in any of their three offices but will require regular attendance in their St Austell office due to the nature of their accounts department location.Whilst within this exciting position you will be working with the Finance Team and alongside their existing credit controllers. The main responsibilities will be collecting collect funds due from clients where bills are overdue for payment to reduce aged debt within agreed timescales; Processing of payments including taking credit/debit card payments and posting these to the ledger; Negotiating with clients to agree repayment plans in line with the Firm’s credit control policy; Working closely with their legal advisers to provide them with support to ensure prompt payment of their bills; Liaising with the Firm’s Debt Recovery Team to ensure any debt referred for legal action is compliant and correctly completed; Preparing weekly aged debt reports. These are just some of the duties that will be undertaken.Purchase ledger; preparing payments via cheque/BACS; reconciling supplier payments and coding/inputting supplier invoices; day to day banking of monies received; processing client and office transactions and deputising for the other credit controllers.Skills, Experience & Qualifications Required -
