Our client, a leading Customer Data Platform companybased in Exeter, is seeking a motivated and experienced Lead Java Developer to join their team.About the Company:Our client is a pioneer in the Customer Data Platform (CDP) industry, dedicated to helping businesses harness the power of their customer data to drive personalized marketing and improve customer experiences. With a strong commitment to innovation and adynamic team of professionals, they are at the forefront of data-driven marketing technology.Responsibilities:As a Lead Java Developer, you will play a key role in developing and enhancing the companys CDP platform. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading a team of Java developers, providing guidance and mentorship.
  • Designing, coding, testing, and debugging high-performance software applications.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and robust solutions.
  • Evaluating and implementing new technologies to improve system efficiency.
  • Participating in architectural design and decision-making processes.
  • Ensuring code quality, security, and best practices are maintained.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues as they arise.
Requirements:To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:Essential Skills:
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as a Java Developer, including leadership or mentoring experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Java, Spring, Hibernate, jUnit, SQL, and Microservices.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
