Job Description

Our client, who provides discounted financial services products to customers across the UK, requires an Insurance Advisor to join their busy and growing team based in Exeter. The main purpose of this role is to provide a professional, quality service to clients, ensuring suitable advice for their protection requirements and to ensure the efficient, smooth process of their application. Some flexible home working is available after the initial training period.Responsibilities:

  • Provide advice and recommendations to clients to meet their insurance protection requirements
  • Provide an efficient and smooth process for customer applications from receipt of fact find through to completion
  • Update clients regularly
  • Liaise with Insurers on exchange to ensure protection products commence as agreed with client
  • Understand the ethos, brand values and reputation of the business and work accordingly at all times
  • Liaise with clients as and when necessary regarding issues raised by the insurance provider

    • Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role within insurance is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent rapport building and relationship building/maintaining skills
  • Good IT skills
  • Ability to use initiative
  • A strong team player
  • Understand the importance of service and efficiency
  • Able to work to and meet deadlines
