Job Description

Our client represents award winning British Engineering at it’s finest and with over two decades of expertise, they also advise Government departments and leading companies on the use and sustainability of Ground Source Heat Pumps.Due to continued growth this well-established Heat Pump Manufacturer has an excellent opportunity to join the Heat Pump Installer Development Team.Overview of the Installer Development Engineer As the Installer Development Engineer (Office based) you will continually grow the installer network and assist in streamlining the efficiency and process of our clients unique commissioning service.Main Purpose of Job

  • To enhance the smooth journey of our installers experience
  • Providing good technical information and support to both installers and end users.
  • Providing a first class telephone commissioning service.
  • Recording, maintaining and updating all records.
  • Negotiating changes with installers before, during and after each project.
  • Analysing content to ensure compliance.
  • Maintaining customer files with confidentiality.
  • Handling incoming phone and email communications and potentially redirecting to the correct channels.
  • Handling occasional office interactions with outside visitors.
  • Working closely with MCS & the Post Technical Support Team and maintaining good communication.
  • Maintaining regular contact with installers updating on project statuses in order to meet deadlines where necessary.
  • Developing a clear understanding of non-compliance process to enable future installs
  • Ability to communicate technical elements of the GSHP proposal.
  • Provide compelling arguments for the use of GSHPs in both new build and retrofit applications.
  • To manage workload and prioritise responses accordingly.
  • Support the Installer Development Team Manager
  • To work at all times in accordance with the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974
  • Whilst working at external sites comply with all on site health and safety procedures and guidelines applicable
  • To work a Dignity & Diversity Policy.
  • To undertake such other duties as maybe required within the general scope of the job
Person Specification:
  • Ideally, you should have a good understanding of heating systems.
  • Be flexible in your approach to assisting installers and clients
  • You will be required to attend regular team meetings
  • You will be required to have exceptional customer service skills
  • Some electrical knowledge is desired but not essential.
  • Good skills in IT
Package:
  • Basic salary £26,000 - £30,000
  • Uncapped bonus scheme OTE (up to £33,600)
