Job Description

Infrastructure Engineer - 45-50k - Exeter The Infrastructure Engineer will primarily, but not exclusively, be responsible for all physical and virtual server infrastructure as well as cloud administration across the group, including management of core applications on premise and hosted in Azure.

  • Provide 3rd line support of core systems, as well as helping the support team develop skills themselves.
  • Perform root cause analysis of 3rd line support issues.
  • Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure to identify and resolve any performance-related issues.
  • Good experience of VMware VSphere, O365 Administration, Microsoft Azure, Windows server 2012,2016,2019, Storage Administration (VNX).
  • Experience of Patch management tool - Ivanti, Automox, WSUS.
  • Ensure internal and external applications and associated infrastructure are functioning correctly, by undertaking proactive monitoring and analysis, resolving problems, and escalating as appropriate.
  • Support Landmarks IT Development processes in the provision of new of improved products and services.
  • Hybrid working in Exeter or Reading
