Job Description

Home ManagerWe have a new opportunity for a Home Manager to work in a well -maintained residential care home in the Exter location. The salary is £50k. The home is medium -sized and in beautiful condition and offers a variety offacilities and a full programme of activities to its residents. The home is set in landscaped gardens with a range of lovely, relaxing outside areas for residents and staff to benefit from .As Home Manager you will need previous experience of this post and also to have worked in a similar setting and a commitment to providing elderly residents and those with dementia and palliative care needs with quality personcentred care. You will haveexcellent people management skills as well as a proven track record of ensuring clinical quality assurance and safeguarding. You will also need to demonstrate your stratigic and business management skills.For an experienced Home Manager The organisation offers :-

  • In addition to the home manager job description the key requirements for this role are:-
  • Practical experience of implementing and ensuring a person-centred care approach to the people who live in the company’s homes is maintained
  • Supporting in the on-going management and review of their end of life programme.
  • Strong people management skills and experience to be able to build a positive working environment and a cohesive team involving all employees of the home
  • The company is looking for someone who is solution focused, who can set realistic and achievable goals for themselves and others (essential)
  • Managing the home on a day to day basis
  • A great deal of involvement with family members
  • Staff supervision
