Our client is a rapidly growing telecommunications company based in Exeter. They are currently seeking a GIS Engineer to join their growing team in a pivotal position. Your role will be to plan the route and design of fibre optic infrastructure for implementation across the rural south west. This will involve utilising a Geographical Information System (GIS) to plan where the fibre will be laid, and to ensure that no obstructions block this route. To be successful in this role you will need to have at least two years of experience working with GIS along with a good understanding of fibre optic cabling. Experience working with ESRI ArcGIS or similar is also essential.Responsibilities:
