Electrical Motor Rewinder/Fitter Exeter £11+ per hr DOE An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Electrical Motor Rewinder / Fitter to join a general engineering company based in Exeter. The successful Electrical Motor Rewinder/Fitter will be joining a large team of talented, passionate engineers who deliver precise and reliable work. As a company, they are keen to reward talent from within and there are progression opportunities available The role is 40 hrs a week Monday to Friday and the main task is to carry out tasks in the workshop and additional tasks as required by the workshop supervisor or department manager. Electrical Motor Rewinder/Fitter Main Duties and Responsibilities: 1.To bring electro / mechanical knowledge to our Winding Shop, specifically to rewind AC and DC motors, stators, armatures and transformers. 2.To carry out works of both low voltage and high voltage rewinds and refurbishment of high and low voltage electric motors and generators 3.Electric motor rewinder 4.High and low Voltage motors (AC & DC) & generators 5.General mechanical and electrical fitting skills. 6.To work on job as directed by the workshop manager and supervisor. 7.To pass completed workshop documentation to the workshop supervisor or manager. 8.To complete time sheets daily and ensure they are handed in as per the procedure. 9.To book jobs into EMIR out of working hours. 10.If the main duties outlined cannot be completed by the end of the working day, it must be brought to the attention of the workshop supervisor or manager. 11.To be available for call out shift or overtime as directed by the workshop manager Ideally you will have experience of both low voltage and high voltage rewinds and refurbishment of high and low voltage electric motors and generators. The work will be mainly in the workshop but there will also be some site work involved. In return my Client is offering the successful Electrical Motor Rewinder/Fitter salary of £11+ per hour DOE
