Pupils are cared for through a highly effective, nurturing pastoral system which allows them toflourish as they go through the school and, of course, beyond it.About the RoleThis post will involve supervising classes effectively, maintaining classroom order and ensuring pupils stay focused in undertaking set activities. They will work under the guidance of teaching/leadership staff within an agreed system of supervision. Whennot required for class supervision the successful candidate will carry out administrative tasks to support the working of the school.The cover supervisor role is a part-time (35 hours p/week) part-year role on a term time basis from September to early May, annually. This may afford the successful applicant the opportunity to explore personal interests and commitments over a longer summerperiod. There will also be the option for the successful applicant to take on additional duties from early May to late June in the role of external exam invigilator if they wish.
