Job Description

About the role:As the Inventory Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting and leading the Stores administrative and Stock management process.You will be responsible for carrying out administrative duties to which include data input, filing and email management and supervising the stocktaking activities across the 4 local distribution sites which are Datchet, Hogsmill, Godalming and Brixton.You will have direct responsibility for returns process and onboard returns from Gangs and Warehouse Operators to SAP Workforce Management (WM) and support and develop processes to the warehouse operatives to perform their day to day activities.You will also need to develop the team in use the of SAP as SAP WM super User by a having an understanding of SAP WMS whilst using it to invoke issues & receipts from Vendors into stores and supporting the Operative team as part of the warehouse operative role using a RFID handheld device.Key Responsibilities:

  • To maintain adequate resources in consumables to manage SAP WMS hardware as well as helping to support colleagues with use of the system.
  • To investigate variable’s and advise to LM.
  • To provide assistance with material labelling and system labelling where required.
  • Provide additional resilience to call out rota for 4 sites where necessary and manage this rota.
  • Provide focal point of engagement with IA on all TW issues.
  • Comply with H&S and safeguarding process at all times.
  • Provide support to line manager with the support of coaching, mentoring & appraising of TW employees as required.
  • To be successful you will have the following skills and experience:
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to drive through new processes and embed these into the function
  • Familiar with MS office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Organization and Time Management
  • Good operating awareness of SAP WM / RFID advantageous.
