Are you an experienced behaviour support assistant looking for work We want to hear from you!Teaching Personnel are working closely with a Pupil Referral Unit in Middlesbrough who are searching for behaviour support assistants as they gain new referrals due to exclusions and the relcoation of pupils.We are searching for candidates with experience working in specialist units, or experience responding to SEMH needs. This provisions caters for young people between the age of 11 and 18 with extremely challenging behaviour and learning difficulties. Specific qualifcations are not necessary for this role although you may benefit from a Teaching Assistant qualifciation or Team Teach training to help you respond to the needs of these units. You wil be passionate about improving the lives of young people and confident in responding to challenging behaviour needs which can include ODD, aggression and severe anxiety at times. Ideally you will have access to your own transport for convenience.This role is a full time position and will be held for the duration of the term with potential for extension.
