We operate a network of 18 active quarries locatedclose to our manufacturing plants.<u>The successful applicant will help oversee aspects of the quarrying operation at Redhurst Quarry Essington, appointed under regulation 8 (1) (D) of the quarry regulations.</u>Key Responsibilities and Experience:

Training Skills and Attributes:

• Hold a recognised management training qualification or professional equivalent. Includes ILM3
• Clay Quarry Managers Seminar
• Quarry Risk Assessment
• Contractor Control
• Quarry Safety inspections
• Environmental Awareness
• IEMA certificate course
• Mobile plant training
• MPQC Red and Blue Operator Card
• IOSH in managing safely
• Completed and passed the Clay Quarry Managers Intermediate course

Other Requirements:

• Enrolment onto Clay Quarries (BCC/IOM3) ContinuousPersonal Development programme (CPD)
• Submitted 2 CPD annual returns (minimum 35hrs per return) and received PASS notifications.
• Completed and logged at least 50hrs of practical quarry operational training with a nominated 8.1.c Mentor. This may include visits to other sites/locations spending time with other 8.1c/8.1.d appointees, or time spent with Geotechnical specialists.
• These hours can be logged as CPD hours and form part of the individual’s CPD submissions
• The 50 hours <u>must</u> include at least 25hrs of clay winning operations training.
• The 50 hrs must also include site boundary and routine quarry inspections training.
